Why participate?
You will be part of testing an investigational treatment for knee osteoarthritis
Your knees will be thoroughly examined and we may perform an x-ray to evaluate the structure of your knee
You will be guided through the research study by health care professionals
What does it require to participate?
You may be suitable for the research study if you
• are between 21-80 years old
• experienced pain in the affected knee for the last 6 months
• do not have any major surgery scheduled for the affected knee during the period of the research study

What you need to know
The research study will evaluate a knee osteoarthritis investigational treatment that is being developed to potentially reduce pain of the affected knee
The treatment is administered by an injection into the affected knee
471 participants with knee osteoarthritis will participate in the study. The study will be conducted in Denmark and the US
The research study duration is approximately 12 months, and involves approximately 11 clinic visits
The research study is sponsored by MiMedx and is conducted by NBCD in collaboration with Studies&Me
The research study has been approved by the local Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
